Dr. Gustavo Almanzar
Dr. Gustavo Almanzar obtained medical degree at the
Iberoamerican University (UNIBE), Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. After
graduating as a Physician, Dr. Gustavo Almanzar specialised in General Surgery
in the General Surgery unit directed by Oscar Brandão Lira MD, at the Santa
Casa da Misericordia Hospital.Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, as a pre-requisite for
Plastic Surgery after finishing he specialised in Plastic Cosmetic and
Reconstructive Surgery At the Plastic Surgery department of the University
Hospital (HU) Located in the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC),
Florianopolis, Brazil. Dr. Gustavo Almanzar is the only Dominican that has
graduated from this Plastic Surgery service located Florianópolis city known as
the birthplace of the main Brazilian international models and for having the
highest demands of beauty and high quality standards of Plastic Surgery results
in Brazil. Dr. Gustavo Almanzar has presented numerous both scientific and
clinical papers at international conferences and numerous rotations and courses
in the United States and Brazil. Among which are: Rotations in the Residence of
plastic and reconstructive surgery at Langome Medical Center (NYU) with DR
Joseph Mccarthy.New York, New York, Rotation at the Plastic and Reconstructive

Dr. Gustavo Almanzar has extensive experience in body
contouring cosmetic surgeries such as abdominoplasty, breast augmentation, breast
reduction, breast lift, liposuction, and facial cosmetic surgeries such as
rhinoplasty, otoplasty or prominent ear correction, blepharoplasty and chin
augmentation among others.
